Susie:
Our day in Paris. The day turned out to be pretty exhausting. Our lovely landlord gave us a lift 4km to the station to get the train to paris. We saw Les Halles (got James pants), Notre damme,

sightseeing in the rain

the Archaeological museum (thankfully quiet), got a bus to the Eiffel Tower, ate a really expensive snack,

being tourists

James always notices the gorilla

The Paris economy is based on tiny models of the Eiffel tower

crossing the double deck bridge over the Seine

queued for the toilet for an hour, went back to Les Halles to check the internet, then to Montmartre where we ate (nice food)

Sunset from Montmartre

then back to the local station for 11pm.Most of the day was spent underground.

Paris

It was a bit wet throughout the day, clearing later. Tomorrow south towards Fontainebleau.
