44 Miles
James
44 miles of sun & wind. Day started well going along interesting roads by the river, and a path which took us along the edge, only to find steps to lift the bikes up.

St Aubin de Luigne
Not the best day, but it started very nicely, found a cool cathedral at Cunault, shortly followed by a supermarket! Got duck and frozen forest mushrooms to keep it cool.

This happened while I was in the supermarket.
Sunny day and not too windy to start with, nice cycling along the river, then crossed to North bank and it got windier.
Spotted motor bike couple from days before. Campsite was closed down, so a hunt for a new one began as it was getting late. Found a basic one in the end (2 more were no good) after going up some really BIG hills while worn out ad tired. Big hills mostly arrive after doing 30 or more miles once we are worn out and looking for a campsite.
Campsite at Savennieres didn't exist. The next one was shut, so we headed into the hills for the next (which didnt show on a google search) Luckily it did exist, but very ropey.
A table of people said hello, the site otherwise seemed deserted except for one campervan. The facilities were all locked except one toilet and an outside tap. It was next to a football pitch in a nice quiet town. We had duck with blackberry sauce and a good nights sleep

Had duck for dinner YUM YUM!
Left in the morning with no one to pay so was FREE!
