34 degrees!
We decided to stay here another day as our spot is idyllic and it is too hot to cycle. Got up slowly, washed clothes, checked internet, sorted route, had lunch. Visited the castle which was packed but pretty cool. Very elegant.
I got a hat which I need for this weather.

Back to the campsite for dinner of lamb curry- basic but nice.
Looking at the campsite maps we realised that the route we planned in the morning (heading south at Loudun) takes us over big hills. Change of plan- we will follow the Loire to the sea (or nearly to the sea) as it is nice and it is flat. Early start tomorrow.

Stayed at campsite an extra day to relax and rest our arms and legs from all the cycling. Visited Chateau Chenonceau for the afternoon.

Tomorrow we set off again on our bikes and head further down the Loire valley.
